After graduating from McGill University, Dr. Dawson began his Houston practice in 1978. Being Canadian, he is fluent in French, as well as Spanish and English. Dr. Dawson is a board certified ophthalmologist and has extensive experience in Refractive Surgery and Cataract Surgery. He is also very comfortable treating glaucoma and performs many procedures related to oculoplastic, muscle and lacrimal system. In the area of refractive surgery, Dr. Dawson was the first in the United States to own and use the Automatic Keratome, which has become the standard instrument used in LASIK. Dr. Dawson is married, has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys racquet sports, billiards and soccer. |
