Comprehensive Eye Exam Why should I have
a comprehensive eye exam? A comprehensive
eye evaluation can detect and diagnose sight, health and sometimes
life threatening disease. It consists of an evaluation of the
physiologic function and the anatomic states of the eye and visual
system. Many people can have a complete eye exam every two to three
years. However, in many
instances a more frequent exam may be required if you have risk
factors for disease, health conditions such as diabetes, or known
eye diseases including glaucoma.
